The 13th Rite of the Womb

The Lineage of Medicine Women, through the jungle medicine of South America, has given us the 13th Rite of the Munay-Ki, The Rite of the Womb.  This Rite was first given to Marcela Lobos and in 2014 she was told that it was time for her to share this Rite with the world. This Rite is an Energetic Transmission that holds the seeds of healing for women, men and all of Life.

There is a lineage of women who freed themselves from suffering and pain.  This lineage of women wants us to remember: The Womb is not a place to store fear and pain; the Womb is to create and give birth to Life.

I offer this Rite to both women and men as we all were created and came into this world through the Womb.  For as we heal the womb, we heal Pachamama our Mother Earth.  As we heal the Womb we heal our expressions and relationship with Life and the World around us. As we heal the Womb we release pain and suffering and come into Ayni (right relationship) with ourselves and with others.  As we heal our Womb we can heal the womb of our mothers, grandmothers, great grandmothers through the entire lineage.  An honoring of their lives and a sacred Rite to release the pain, suffering and experiences that have been held and carried forward generation to generation knowingly and unknowingly.  What a gift women can give to themselves, their loved ones, their ancestors and one another. For as we change so does all that surrounds us.”

                                       QUESTIONS / ANSWERS

                Why 13th and not 10th?

Before the Rite of the Womb, there were nine Munay-Ki Rites.  Though the rite of the womb is the tenth rite to be given to us, it is a feminine rite and does not need to follow linearity.  The lineage of medicine women who passed this Rite to us want us to honor the thirteen moons of the year, which are connected to the cycles of the womb and so it is known as the thirteenth Rite.

If I had a hysterectomy can I receive this Rite?

If your uterus was removed it is even more important that you receive this rite.  Energetically you still have your womb and it is vital that you reconnect with it to reclaim your feminine wisdom and power.  After you receive this rite, it is fundamental that you nurture it every dark moon to heal any imprints of pain and sorrow and step into joy and compassion.

Can pregnant women receive this Rite?

This rite is a blessing for the mother and the baby since it will inform both beings.  Nevertheless, it is important to give it with extra gentleness and reverence for life and also to honor the intuition of the mother to be.

               What about men?

All life comes from the womb of the Earth and all men come from a woman's womb.  It is for men who find this essential for for their healing.

                How can I receive it?

This Rite can be given in person or long distance in a very beautiful Ceremony and combined with an Energetic Healing Session to assist in the Integration; creating a garden for these new seeds to grow.

               Nurturing the Rite

After you have received the Rite of the Womb, you nurture its power with practices provided during the session that can be done at least once and up to thirteen months to fully empower your womb.  Then you can share the Rite with women and men of your community. Every time you transmit the rite, you strengthen its power in your womb.
